Enjoy breakfast at your Sigiriya accommodation before your 8.00 am a pickup. Head out with your guide and begin your 1.5-hour drive to Anuradhapura for a 9:30 am arrival. Your guide will give you a tour of the city including ancient monuments such as Sri Maha Bodhi and Thuparamaya. After visiting Anuradhapura, take a 1-hour break at 2:30 pm for lunch at a local restaurant Anuradhapura After lunch, make a 30-minute drive to Mihintale, one of the most significant sites in the cultural triangle.

Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Here, your guide will take the lead and give you the historical background of this background. Finally, at approximately 5:30 pm you will be transferred back to your Sigiriya hotel.
