Experience:

You will be picked up from Danigala Temple,early in the morning, at 6 am. Start Hiking from Danigala Temple. 90 minutes climbing through jungle and 60 minutes climb down. Danigala is one of the pre historical sites that goes back to the Ramayana era. This place is believed to be the place that Ravana landed his Dadumonara (An airplane). It is also one of the Buddhist monasteries during the 2nd century B.C. There are several caves in Danigala that indicate some historical signs and one cave houses a large recumbent Buddha image said to measure 38.9 feet in length done in brick and stucco and placed on a platform. Hiking Danigala is one of the most thrilling adventurous experience. Once you reach the top, the views are wonderous.
