Endemic Birds

Black Capped Bulbul
This resident breeder is usually seen in pairs and found abundantly in the wet zone and from the lowlands up to the mid mountainous areas. This bird can be observed in the Mitirigala Forest Reserve, Kitulgala Forest Reserve, The Peak Wilderness Sanctuary, Bodhinagala Forest, Morapitiya Forest Reserve, Sinharaja Rain Forest, Hiyare Forest Reserve, Udawalawe National Park and the Wasgamuwa National Park.
