Hingula Village ෴ හිඟුල

Hingula in Kegalle District is a district of the Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. About Kegalla District

The District of Kegalle is situated in between the central highlands and western southern plains and has an enchanting environment. The extent of the District is 1,692.8 km2 (653.6 sq mi).

About Sabaragamuwa Province

Sabaragamuwa is yet another province of Sri Lanka, located in the south-central region of the island and is comprised of two administrative districts: Ratnapura and Kegalle. Sabaragamuwa is named after its former indigenous inhabitants, namely the Sabara, an Indic term for hunter gatherer tribes, a term seldom used in ancient Sri Lanka.
